Return Policy

Textbook Returns

The LLCC Bookstore offers a full refund on new, used, or rental books for up to one week from the date of purchase as long as the following criteria is met:

• You present your original receipt from the LLCC Bookstore
• Books do not have any marking on them and are exactly the same condition as purchased (no tears, bends, etc.)
• Shrink-wrapped or boxed merchandise is not unwrapped or opened (no refunds are given for opened items including bundles or textbooks)
• Access codes or other ancillary materials have not been opened, used, or scratched off

After the end of the second week of class, all purchases previously made are non-returnable for that term unless there are issues relating to bookstore errors or changes in texts by instructors. In these cases, we will work with you to return your books to us and provide you the correct one even after the second week of class.

Should your class be cancelled or you decide to drop, you will have until the end of the first week of classes to present your receipt for a full refund if the above rules are followed.

Merchandise Returns

There is a 30-day return period for most merchandise (see exceptions below) from the date of purchase. Within this time frame, the LLCC Bookstore offers a full refund as long as the following criteria is met:

• You present your original receipt from the LLCC Bookstore
• Items are in original, new condition with tags still attached and in original packaging
• Shrink-wrapped or boxed merchandise is not unwrapped or opened (no refunds are given for opened items including bundles or textbooks)
• Access codes or other ancillary materials have not been opened, used, or scratched off

The items below are non-returnable:

• Personalized merchandise
• Special-order items
• Tools
• Shoes
• Computers/Electronics

Final note: save your receipt. All returned merchandise and textbooks must have an original receipt. Some textbooks contain access codes for additional web content. Once these codes are opened or scratched, they are not returnable. Software, tool kits, and other specialty merchandise are not returnable for credit or refund.

Wrong Item, Size, or Color

We will promptly replace or refund any merchandise that is the wrong item, size, or color. Shipping is refundable only if the wrong merchandise results from an error by the bookstore. If you made a mistake or have changed your mind, then you must pay for all shipping charges when returning the order. All merchandise must be in original condition with tags still attached.

Defective Merchandise

We will promptly replace or refund any merchandise that you receive that is damaged or defective. We will credit the account used for the order for the cost of return shipping upon receipt of the damaged or defective merchandise.

Be sure to include your original receipt and the reason you are returning the merchandise. The LLCC Bookstore reserves the right to refuse any refund or return. The LLCC Bookstore is not responsible for orders placed with other online vendors. Please be sure to check their return policies before ordering.
